Vintage Mirror Updated With DIY Paint And An IOD Transfer

This heavy, vintage mirror was framed in the orangey-brown finish of my grandmother’s bedroom set. The mirror is real silver and you can see its cracks in the reflection.

I mixed the navy color myself and have used it on a hutch that resides in my entryway. It’s a half and half mixture of DIY Paint in Blue Iris and Little Black Dress. The original orangey finish peeks out at the distressed places. The video link below shows the application of the Iron Orchid Design’s Retired Decor Transfer Wildflower Botanicals transfer.
