Blended paint can be tough for those who like things orderly and perfect. Give yourself permission to not be perfect. You might not know how it will turn out, but chances are good that you’ll be pleasantly surprised once you’re finished.
I used DIY Paint in Queen Bee, Summer Crush, Cake Batter, and Carnival Red. First, I covered the box in a “random on purpose” way. I used the same brush(affiliate link) throughout the project without cleaning it between colors. I worked out of the paint lids to avoid contaminating each pot of paint.
The spray bottle is a blended paint project’s best friend. I used a regular one in this project, but now, to avoid overwatering my projects, I use one that produces a fine mist. Here’s an affiliate link to my favorite. It produces a beautiful, fine spray. Spray Bottle
