Did you know you can create your own tartan using the IOD Pretty in Plaid stamps on furniture? We’ve partnered with our friend Lel at Made by Marley and she’s used the new them to create a modern take of a vintage shortbread tin on a dresser. She always inspires us when she layers her paint and IOD products to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
Lel made a YouTube video for Purple Monkey Manor:
Here are the key things we learned from her video:
1. Create your own plaid / tartan by layering pieces of the Pretty In Plaid IOD Stamp.
2. Design on the fly as your project takes form.
3. Add your own painted elements to paint inlays to incorporate your project colors into the inlay pattern.
